DEATHRITE 

Death Metal aus Dresden

Not too many bands share the ability to instinctively hit the sweet spot where only the
most severe elements of death-metal and punk converge. Surely one of the most
thrilling acts of this rare breed are DEATHRITE from Dresden, Germany, who honed
their knuckle-dragging savagery for four years now over a series of releases,
including the highly praised „Into Extinction“, released through the esteemed German
label Per Koro in 2013. On numerous tours and countless shows DEATHRITE have
played with internationally renowned artists like Napalm Death, Rotten Sound, Aura
Noir, Mutilation Rites, Integrity and Full Of Hell, just to name a few. Coming from –
and sticking to – Germany’s vivid DIY punk scene these four guys have never been
afraid to add a huge amount of old school Death Metal riffage and even hints of
head-hits-concrete sludgecore villainy into the mix. The preliminary peak of this
malign mixture is DEATHRITE’s newest album „Revelation Of Chaos“, that will reveal
itself via Prosthetic Record in 2015. The outcome sounds like a beer and blood
soaked Death Metal show that might very well have happened in a Swedish
basement around 1992, including the trademark HM2 sound that hasn’t been
presented in such a sordid perfection since Dismember’s “Like An Ever Flowing
stream”. Yet the song-writing is so bare-bones to the point that “Revelation Of Chaos”
will bring together Metalheads, Punks and Grindcore freaks at ease to destroy
themselves in every mosh pit ever. Let the chaos arise.

EURYNOMOS

Black/Thrash Metal aus Rheinland-Pfalz

From the forgotten Valleys of Hades comes the metallic beast EURYNOMOS.
EURYNOMOS' spirit was born years ago but never left the realm of shadows until the
line-up was finally completed in 2014.
Musically, EURYNOMOS stands for tradition and keeps the flame of the creators of
the raw and dark Heavy Metal genre burning, no more - no less.
Lots of elements for a huge amount of songs has been written during the years, a lot
of material which now is sorted out step by step.

INFERNAL ASSAULT 

Black/Speed Metal aus Koblenz

Die Rheinland-Pfälzer Infernal Assault liefern laute Gitarren, stürmische Drums und
eingängige Songs die stilistisch irgendwo zwischen frühen Bathory, Venom und
Motörhead fallen.
Mit der aktuellen EP „Spectres Of The Night“ führt die junge Band konsistent fort was
sie 2014 begonnen haben und behalten die jugendliche Aggressivität in ihrem
Sound. Trotzdem haben Infernal Assault eine interessante Prise Rock’n’Roll in ihren
Songs der sie von einigen Bands dieser Musikrichtung abhebt.
Das Trio spielt nur wenige Shows im Jahr, umso heißer dürften sie bei uns in Ulm auf
die Bühne steigen.

NOCTURNAL WEED 

Sludge/Death Metal aus Ulm

Die in Ulm ortsansässige Band macht keinen Hehl daraus, sich ihrer Umgebung des
nebligen Donautals anzupassen. Hier trifft drückender Sludge auf doomigen Death
Metal, gepaart mit lyrischer Kräuterkunde und einem Hauch von Rauch. Mit ihrem
baldigst erscheinenden Demo-Release "Smoke Inhaler", werden sie das CAT einmal
mehr aus allen Wolken fallen lassen. Legalize the world!
